The honest fine print.
We built amberbird.ai to be trustworthy, which means being clear about exactly what it is and what it isn't. In plain English, no buried clauses.

Amberbird.AI provides general information, not legal advice.
Using this site does not create an attorney–client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, we'll connect you with a licensed immigration attorney.
01What we are
Amberbird.AI is an information platform. We translate official U.S. government immigration guidance into plain English, help you organize documents and deadlines, and walk you through common forms so you can navigate your own case with more confidence.
- A research and organization tool for visa and green card applicants
- Answers grounded in official USCIS guidance, with the source shown
- A bridge to licensed attorneys when your case needs one
02What we are not
We are deliberately clear about our limits. Amberbird.AI is not a law firm and does not practice law.
- Not a substitute for advice from a licensed immigration attorney
- Not able to represent you before USCIS or any court
- Not a guarantee of any specific immigration outcome
Reading our content or chatting with the assistant does not create an attorney–client relationship and is not protected by attorney–client privilege.
03About our sources
Every substantive answer cites the official source it draws from — typically a USCIS page, the Immigration and Nationality Act, or a federal regulation. We show these so you can verify the information yourself. Government policy changes over time, and a cited page may be updated after you read it. Always confirm time-sensitive details against the live official source.
04When we hand off
If your question involves legal judgment — a prior status issue, a denial, removal proceedings, criminal history, or anything genuinely complex — the assistant will tell you so and recommend a licensed attorney rather than guess. This is by design. We would rather say “this needs a professional” than risk your case with a confident-sounding wrong answer.
05Accuracy & limits
We work hard to be accurate, but no automated system is perfect, and immigration law is nuanced and fact-specific. Information is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for decisions you make based on it, and you should independently verify anything that affects your status, eligibility, or filing deadlines.
06Your data
We treat your immigration story with the discretion it deserves. See our Privacy Policy and Data & security page for how we protect, store, and let you control your information.
